The scene of dancing with demons to try to find the devil was compelling (reminded me a bit of Labyrinth), but everything else fell a bit flat.

This was… not it. Beyond typos and grammatical errors, I was pretty much confused the entire time. The premise was barely explained and there were scene cuts and jumps that made everything from the very first page confusing. I’ve reread pages and passages thinking it was me just not understanding but gave up and lost interest around page 65 of 80.

There were some lines I enjoyed but not being able to understand any of her motivations left me overall uninterested.

If you’re looking for something quick and smutty without a care for WHY anything is actually happening or why nothing makes sense, this might work for you.

Uniquely Dark and Sexy!

This is a really good novella! I love the concept of the dance on All Hallows Eve. I do wish the author had written a little more to explain how the dance started and the concepts behind everything they wrote, but this is still very good and entertaining!
