This is a brilliant collection of women's poetry - some incredibly powerful and moving poetry here. Many of them are well worth regular reading. A collection to treasure.

I’m undecided on this one, because while I throughly enjoyed a lot of the poems, I also had a difficult time getting through it.

A beautiful and empowering anthology of poems, written by incredibly talented women. I am particularly thrilled to see a poem by Nikita Gill in this collection. Growing up I thought I didn't like poetry, that I didn't understand it, that it wasn't for me, but I now know that it's about finding poems that strike a chord in me, words that I can relate to and that's what She Is Fierce is to me.
The narration of this book is gorgeous and I know it's one I'll listen to on Audible time and time again.

Very mixed, and the standout poems are the ones we've all read before, e.g. Angelou

Not my favourite collection of poems. Some great ones hidden in there though.

I was expecting braver and bolder poems. They are all beautiful and are organised nicely into set sections -roots and growing up, friendship, love, nature, freedom, mindfulness and joy, society, fashion and body image, courage, protest and resistance and endings. A huge portion of the book (215-280) are just very small basic biographies, an index of first lines and an index of poets.
