I don't know how to give books one star, so I did two. The devastation that is the foundation for this book is lost on the handful of individuals on which the book focuses. I got too distracted by the alternating storylines.

This is one of those books you don’t put down. Something that makes you incapable of running away from it. So many triggers, and bringing to light the need for change. Tears were shed.
