AMAZING
This series gets better and better with each book! I am LIVING for these rewrites. I loved the series when I first read it, but it never held a candle to ZA or any of the sisters’ others series’ if I’m being honest. It’s definitely moving up in the rankings in my mind and could easily tie ZA. Wrathful Mortals was amazing. I’m glad that Callie and Magnar finally got to have a “moment” and that Montana is back with Erik. I love Julius but I’m still not a fan of Fabian. I don’t think I ever liked him in the originals either but we’ll see if that changes with the rewrites. The ending wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. The Sisters are well known for their soul crushing cliffhangers, but this wasn’t that. It was a good ending that definitely makes you want to know what happens next but it wasn’t a “oh my god I’m going to d!3 if I don’t get the next book right now” type ending if you know what I mean. Oh and F the Gods.

This is where the series finally starts to pick up speed and started to captivated me more. While I enjoyed the first 3 books, they were also books that I could easily stop reading and may not pick up for a day or so. This book was a struggle to put down. It feels like everything is really ramping up. In this book, you discover who the real enemy is along with a few more bits and pieces of the past. Some of Magnar and Eric's flashback chapters are starting to make more sense.
