Talk about getting my motor running!!!! (Get your mind out of the gutter. I was referring to all of the drama, suspense, budding romance, forbidden love.) Jack Davenport maybe a recent addition to the world of publishing but he has done an amazing job of entertaining, story telling, and creating fantastic characters. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

The Burning Saints MC is a 1% club on the way to the world of legitimacy. They are cleaning up there act starting with the return of Minus, book 1. A MUST READ!!!!!!!!! It won't be easy. It won't be popular. It will be entertaining.

Clutch maybe Sergeant at Arms but he has doubts about the club's future success. The tension between him and Minus can be felt through the pages. Adding to the conflict is Minus telling Clutch the Eldie (Lady Doctor Gina) is off limits. Making it more challenging is the fact there are still issues with the Los Psychos MC from Mexico. Because tangling with cartels is always a fun thing---NOT!!

But where there is heat there the fire. Sexual tension creates for such wonderful drama and this is packed with it. Add in the educated good doctor and the questionable life of Clutch and you enter the "good luck with that" world. Opposites may attract but there is a lot going against them. LOVED IT!!!

And when I got to the epilogue I was blown away. So good! So satisfying!! Now when is the next one coming?

I wanted to love this book but Gina absolutely ruined it for me. If your gonna love a man love all of him.... even the stuff don’t like all that much. But I loved Nicky

I was excited when I read that Clutch was going to be the second book in the series. I would recommend that you read Minus first, not just because it is awesome but I don't think you cant get the full meaning of some of the events in this book without reading book 1.

Clutch is struggling with his clubs new direction and Gina is trying to figure out her new life. After a chance meet up can they build a life together or will they crash and burn? Reading this book you can almost feel Clutch's struggle with not only his feelings for Gina but his fears about his Club. Gina is a hilarious and strong doctor who is ready to move on and take some chances. What I loved about this book is that you can really feel the chemistry between Gina and Clutch and both have beautifully vulnerable moments. This book is a great balance between hilarious moments, steamy love scenes and the twists and turns of the plot. You can almost feel the struggles the character go through and it makes the story that much sweeter. This has all the elements of a great MC book, action, steamy romance, page turning twists and a MC family. But what makes this book interesting is that we can read about the struggles that an MC can go through and how they must work though change. This series should be your next great MC summer read!
P.S There is a line about a raccoon that will make you laugh out-loud from one of my favorite scenes!

Dr. Gardner has been the club's go-to doctor for years. Clutch is the Sergeant at Arms for the transitioning MC. These opposites attract in this novel. Eldie was given the nickname by the club. She has always had a soft spot for the MC. Since her divorce, she started noticing Clutch. Clutch thinks he isn't worthy of the love of a doctor. Yet he also can't stay away. These two have chemistry, through the roof, but is that enough to start a life together? In this next phase of the MC clutch and Doc face dangers and love. I continue to enjoy Davenport's style of writing. He creates drama and tension without creating extreme situations. I love how he writes these characters.
