Awful. I can only assume it's bad translation, but it's written like a third grader wrote it....and I don't mean the story line. The writing is painful to get through.

This is a hilariously silly, yet simple read about a subject (farts, of course) that is inherently funny, and is made even funnier by adding a plot that includes a crazy inventor, helpful kids, and even a dash of "bad guys." I would have liked the illustrations to be a bit more detailed instead of looking like a kid drew them, but I suppose the use of basic drawn lines adds to the overall quirkiness of the read.

I read this book (and the sequel) to my daughter when she was about 6 years old, and we had a lot of good laughs together. You shouldn't be discouraged by the title; the book isn't about "toilet humor", rather it is quite the children's action book. I can't speak for the english translation, but the Norwegian original is certainly a great children's book.

I just love the originality of the story and characters. You probably won't forget about this book and maybe re read it after many years again as me.
It's very enjoyable and funny book.
