this was something???? it certainly was a book I suppose? I spent the whole time conflicted on how I felt about it bc I simultaneously hated it but really enjoyed it?? the reveal at the end

the whole location of the Holy grail was made immediately obvious to me once Sophies grandmother was talking about the chalice and blade in terms of (inverted) triangles n that Langdon would realise it eventually but like come onnnn are u silly why would they put it there

I also really hated that brown called a British Knight TEAbing like could u be more annoying??? and the like blatant half truths/lies that the book is just FILLED with was so so frustrating and I don't even care for history like that esp bc of just how wanky its put in there?? like the whole thing is just like 'oooo wow I know soooo much about the Holy grail n history I'm sooooo special' that it made me wanna tear my hair out a lil bit ?? like I was fact checking some stuff as I went and some of it was just false?? like the louve pyramids were not commissioned to be made of exactly 666 glass panes?? that is just a conspiracy theory ?? why would u say that??

but despite all this i really wanted to know what was gonna happen next ??? which is suppose is a good sign? but I think it was a mix of oh god what else is this guy gonna pull and wow I'm actually compelled by this story to a degree?

I am glad to have read it tho bc at least I can now say I've read it and it was quite enjoyable ! I read it for a book club so I'm looking forward to hearing what other ppl have to say on it tho

przeczytałam to... kiedyś, więc dosyć dawno. jak miałam te, powiedzmy, 12 lat, to powieść ta była dla mnie cudem. ciekawa, mądra, pełna sztuki i akcji. spróbowałam to przeczytać kilka tygodni temu, bo zatęskniłam za tą śmieszną teorią spiskową, ale.... otóż nie XD nawet nie wiem od czego miałabym tu zacząć. co za pretensjonalna kupa, już wy sami wiecie czego.

Ondanks toch een groot aantal conspiracy theories in dit boek die waarschijnlijk op niets trekken, toch een zeer aangename roman waarbij je goed kan wegdromen en proberen de mysteries te ontrafelen.
