THE GOOD: Finished #8 and this was probably the best yet, especially in terms of character development for Hideo, Oda and Hiromi

Some great weird and intriguing stuff in here (including one wild and interesting interlude) grounded by the characters

Very depressing and fast-paced. I'm confused about the relationship between Hiromi and Hideo. I'm confused why Hiromi has been lying about stuff (like her first kiss) and why she has homicidal urges. The Italy story at the end was interesting. The conglomerate zombies are very freaky.

This series continues to be a page turner for me! I don’t want to put it down! Such a great volume. I’m so glad I have the rest of this series to continue on binge reading. I love all the speculations toward the end of this one. About zombies and aliens and all. On to the next one!

I would give this a higher rating but a few parts kind of seemed too unrealistic but that's really my only complaint. The story took a hard turn and is getting very interesting. I can't wait to read the next volume!

This series is taking an intriguing direction, that becomes especially weird, but compelling with the end.

Our main trio of characters are featured heavily, which I really liked. There is a plot choice for one of the trio, that I was not a huge fan of, but it ends up being completed with some well done emotional scenes.

I am beginning to wonder how many more volumes are left in the series, things are getting weird, and there seems to be almost no one left!

Enjoyable. Everything's coming together(ish). Feels like the beginning of the end here. I'll let you know how that feeling pans out.
