Laid out like a textbook. I'm sure it would be very informative for some, but it wasn't engaging for me. As it is a library book I thought it best to get it back to them.

a great intro to inclusive feminism. i liked the sections on the institution of marriage, womanism, body image, and lgbtqia+ feminism the most

This is probably not a book I would have picked to read had I not received it as part of a book club subscription, but I wanted to read through it to see how appropriate it would be to recommend to the young people in my life. This book covers a wide variety of topics related to feminism on a very surface level, and while there are some articles I slightly disagree with, and others I wish conveyed a more nuanced viewpoint, this is still a good resource for those trying to familiarize themselves with these concepts for the first time. If nothing else, it’s a great springboard to further research on this topic, with its list of prominent feminists and other references.
