I really enjoyed Adams’ writing style. There’s so many fun quotes you could pull from this. I also really liked what he did with the Electric Monk and Gordon Way’s ghost. They had such fun storylines. The horse as well.
My biggest disappointment was Dirk Gently himself. I was expecting him to be whimsical and charming, but he was just so full of himself it was annoying. He didn’t really do much either.
The ending felt a bit rushed.
I much prefer the Netflix adaptation of Dirk Gently. Which has very little in common with this book.

A fun, comfy read. The ending was a little weak and confusing but didn't retroactively ruin the book before it. Very standard British comedic tone, so if that's what you're in the mood for it will scratch that itch! Unfortunately, i can't recommend it on any other level. An easy read, but I won't be mulling over any of it now I've finished it. Also, one of the least diverse books I have read in a long time.
Minor: Racism and Transphobia
