Katherine May's writing is always so restful, reverent, and peaceful. Though I may not agree with all of her conclusions, she always makes me think and reflect on life and ideas. A true delight.

An enjoyable read but I feel like the author is writing from a place of distinct privilege.

Ehhhh, this one and I didn't quite jive like I thought we would. Although I do love the general theme of Enchantment and its ethereal concepts, I really struggled to find a rhythm with May's writing style. For such a lovely, wise message, I found many of her sentences choppy and jolting.

Anyway, this book has some excellent ideas but took some trudging to get through. Might just be a me-not-May kind of thing.

Wintering, one of Katherine’s earlier books, was honestly life changing for me. This book, however, didn’t hold my interest. I listened to the whole thing because her writing is gorgeous.
