I never thought a couple could top Drew and Fable in this series, but Owen and Chelsea really gave them a run for their money. This was an awesome conclusion to this series. We got a nice amount of Drew and Fable as well as a really enjoyable story about Owen and Chelsea. Both of their histories were heartbreaking and I really enjoyed their journey to trust each other.
My one tiny complaint is the end. I would have loved an epilogue that went further into the future. Because the author has given us an amazing novella before I'm really hoping she has one more in her about Owen and Chelsea. I get why she ended it the way she did, and it was actually really beautiful, I just loved the characters so much I wanted more!

I couldn't wait to read Owen's story. He always intrigued me when he was featured in Drew and Fables books and I knew his book was going to be epic and it was.

Owen basically had to grow up when he was a teenager, his mum was a drunk and never there and his sister was practically raising him. Owen had a troubled life and it didn't stop until he met Chelsea. Chelsea was sweet and innocent and then she met Owen.

Owen and Chelsea were so different but thats when you know they are so perfect for each other. They had obstacles to overcome and it just added that little bit extra to their story.

   | I recently read The Failing Hours by Sarah Ney. I enjoyed it very much. With that vibe, I dove in into Four Years Later knowing the story is similar.

What I found lacking in Four Years Later is that the characters development. At the beginning Owen was suppose to be this man whore who is selfish and carefeee. Only at beginning. Then without any pre amble, his character suddenly flips into needy, immature, annoying jock.

Chelsea character remains the same. Damsel in distress. The chemistry between them is lacking. I need more tender, vulnerable moments to be able to feel the connection between them.

The story is actually promising. I still enjoy it OK. Just need more spark/tender/ vulnerable moments. More swoon.
