Art heists and a dreamy billionaire. I love me some Ally Carter.

This was probably about a 3.5⭐️ book for me. It was a bit far fetched but super fun! Kat is trying to get out of the family business by removing herself from her father in Europe and attending a boarding school in the states. However, that is short lived and she is drawn back in, to try to save her father.
Maybe I need to read all the books in the series but I didn’t feel like we got to know the main characters super well. Kat was a bit bland for me despite the fact that she really shouldn’t be - she’s the daughter of international art thieves and has been involved in lots of heists!
Overall it was a really fun book and the plot was entertaining. I always enjoy a good heist plot and this was a light, quick read.

This book was a fun, easy read. It reminded me of an Ocean's Eleven movie with all the planning of an elaborate break in. One thing I disliked about the book is that I never was able to get very attached to any of the characters or be immersed in their world. It was a good, short book to read, but I only wish that I was more interested in the characters.

3.5 but I rounded up. The book appealed to the lost of heists and smart people. It was good, but not great. See Robots Read for more details.

Blah, that is how I felt about this book. I really loved the premise, which is why I still gave the book 2 stars. I loved the idea of international art thieves and their shady, yet cosmopolitan life.
However, the execution was lacking. I had to force myself to finish the book. I didn't really care about any of the characters, and the execution of the plot seemed haphazard to me.
Blah, I don't really have anything else to say about the book.
