Wow ok where to begin so first let’s talk about the second books cliffhanger cuz what the heck the guys might be dead, Chiara’s been kidnapped for the 2nd time poor girl can’t catch a break. But the way she hands herself dang that girl is a baddie she thought she was about to die a gruesome death and she’s out there with a brave face on so her men don’t think she was scared in her final moments not to mention how she was just bad mouthing Thane and Acid when she thought they were the BOK like she was giving them ideas on how to KILL her all so when her guys saw the inevitable video of her death they would see how strong and brave she was. Sooooo cute . Then we have the continuing development that is the possible revenge to her father for killing her mother back in the first book. the way they handled that revenge in the end awww (chef’s kisses 😘) the mayor really just dug his own grave 😂. . We also finally wrap up the whole black orchard killer story and find out who actually killed Salvatore’s, Lorenzo’s, Cassius’ and Vinicius’ sisters but like the fact that Chiara figured it all out even without seeing the videos wow I was impressed. But I low key thought that Lorenzo, Cassius and Chiara were going to die when Nicole’s dad (the freaking BOK, like HOWWWWW, did not see that one coming especially since he seemed so weak and cowardly the entire series) locked them in the basement and then set the house on fire 🔥 and they had no reception but at least Cassius had the forethought to text the address so even if a neighbour hadn’t called the fire department someone knew where they were. Let not forget when Salvatore legit loses it and finally murders the BOK especially since that bitch was about to murder his wife and daughter what the heck. . This book was amazing, like all that happened while the relationship between Chiara and her 4 boyfriends just gets even cuter especially when they decide to have kids together and Lorenzo being Lorenzo locks everyone else out of the compound for like a week while its Chiara’s fertile window all so he can be the father what a goof 😂 honestly such an amazing book with the spice scenes, the drama, the romance, the suspense of figuring out this murder but not in a I’m terrified every second of this book that something bad is going to happen. And just the fact that Chiara is such a bad ass man character like you go girl yes you are the princess of Cold lake. Also the bonus chapter wow I loved how we get a glimpse into Lorenzo and Vinicius friendship and lives right after their sisters murders also the song recommendation (idfc by blackbear) perfection 😘. And how it’s not solely a best friendship but how Lorenzo and Vinicius have these romantic feeling absolutely adorable . Anyway if i could I’d give it a 5.5/5. Definitely recommend but make sure to check the tw’s because it is pretty graphic but I’m going to assume if you’ve made it to this book you’ve already read books 1 and 2 so you are probably good to go. Have fun reading 📖
