Solid collection. Rucci is coming of age in this poetry, writing about getting away from where one grew up, finding hope for renewal in other cities, watching friends make mistakes you can't help them avoid while Martín's half of the book is much more concerned with owning one's misfit-ism, finding love where you can (and learning to admit when you won't find it at all). Both writers are also outstanding spoken-word performers so catch them out when you can because many of the pieces in this book really come alive during oration.
