I’m coming to realize that Sumino’s style is to present you with an intriguing and unique plot, but the twists and turns leave you contemplating so much more. Sumino is great at gradually revealing new information.

What a wonderful tearjerker. I don’t want to elaborate because frankly that might tell too much to other potential readers. Just read it when you’re in the mood for a romance-tearjerker. It’s an exemplary tale in that specific genre.
Moderate: Bullying, Cancer, Child death, Chronic illness, Confinement, Death, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Panic attacks/disorders, Toxic relationship, Violence, Medical content, Grief, Stalking, Gaslighting, Toxic friendship, Alcohol, and Sexual harassment
Some of these more aggressive content warnings are there in the book but it’s all in a subjective vein about how aggressive those things are or not. It leaves it up to you the reader to decide. Just for goodness sake give this book a read.
