I listened to the audio book version read by Phoebe Judge on the podcast Phoebe Reads a Mystery.
I belive I first hear about this store from a mystery writer who described it as the best mystery ever written. Can't say that I agree with their enthusiastic statements, however I did really enjoy the story most of the time.
I have a general issue with the "mystic indian gem" that is in the center of the story. I find it leaning too much old stereotypes, making it hard to grasp as a modern reader.
