Et tu brute?

It must be by his death,
And for my part,
I know no personal cause to spurn at him,
But for the general,
He would be crowned,
How that might change his nature,
That is the question
It is the bright day that brings forth the adder
And that craves wary walking
Crown him that –
And then i grant we put a sting on him

Yes... until this day, i can quote brutus' soliliquoy... because of pak doug... and bc i lost a bet to nashr playing 1v1 basketball and had to perform and remember this long ass excerpt in front of the whole english class lang lit students instead of getting a smaller part, which he won... for obvious reasons...

Still not my favorite Shakespeare. Let's kill someone and then when people take their revenge on us let's kill our selves before they can do it. Meh. I get the historical significance, but I'm still not sure why high schools teach this over his comedies?

On aineksia moneen näkökulmaan.

I gave it three although it’s good for kids. The play is much better than this to acknowledge Brutus as the navigator for whole package.

Beware of the Ides of March-Be careful on March
15th.

Cowards die many times before their death. The valiant never taste of death but once.-People who fear death suffer all their lives. People who do not fear death suffer only once - When they die.

not my favourite shakespeare play, but it doesn’t say much when i love all of them so much. the depth of brutus wasn’t really something i expected this much from a play and i just love it. also if you like reading quotable stuff this had so many incredible lines. i read this just to read if we were villains knowing what’s going on tbh but im so glad i did xjjzhzjdh
