Marple, in short form! The brevity of these stories provide an enjoyable evening mystery — all the more enjoyable with a bit of gin. A few characters from other novels reappear here in the short stories, so it was fun to build out the world St. Mary Mead and Much Benham. Dolly Bantry, in particular, is always welcome. We are nearing the end. I will miss Marple.

Agatha Christie has always been the best cure whenever I find myself in a reading slump. Enjoyed these Miss Marple stories. Safe to say that I’m glad I don’t live in St. Mary Mead between all the gossip and murder!

I only had to read one story in this compilation. I've read all the other ones in a different form.
