Meet the Moore family and their particular hobbies as they search through the house to find Gargoy, the toy that Baby Zom needs to sleep. Her comfort blankey if you will. A wonderfully illustrated book that doesn't hide from the rotten appearances of the zombies. Not good for the very young.

I found something off about this book that I can’t put my finger on. In some ways, it is almost too text heavy and that does the glorious illustrations a disservice. In other ways, the the roles are so stereotypical that it undermines the use of a zombie family, especially one where all the children are still pretty.

Got this as a freebie on my Kindle. It is quite short (I read it while having a cuppa) but it's a fun little story and the illustrations are lovely and very colourful. I haven't come across many books for kids about zombies, it's usually witches and ghosts. Recommended.

Not much learning although quick and easy to read. My daughter didn't like the characters. She is not much of a zombie fan, so she didn't care for the characters.
