This book has a seemingly innocent title, but now that I’ve read it, it sounds so ominous! Really fun little twist there.
Like many of Crawford’s books, this one is packed with appearances from many of the characters you may have already come to love if you’ve read any of her other novels. Any time I read her books, I feel I note little improvements in her writing and/or style.
In this one, it’s how true-to-form her characters remain over the years or books. She’s done a good job creating this drama-packed world full of lovable people.

Formatting in this book is beautiful, your eyes will be pleased while your mind gets lost in the story. If you’ve ever battled cancer or been close to anyone who has, you’ll likely find at least one person you relate to as well.

There are some really brilliant scenes and lines in this installment, and it’s not to be missed, whether you’re new to the series or not! Can be read as a standalone.

4 stars.
