5 star if she doesn’t end up with that fat pink toxic guy.
4 star if she does.

I loved this one. It’s one of the best small story time travel books I’ve read.

So glad to have finally found the time to enjoy this. There’s so much here about the strange and marvelous intimacy of close female friendships and (spoiler?) the tragedy of what happens when they change and grow and even end. I’ll be thinking about this one for a long while, I think.

A24 PLEASE adapt this and let me play Bertie thank youuuu

I LOVE a Groundhog Day story so obviously this was right up my alley. Lots of fun themes explored in here and I was absolutely gripped by the story. I’m just not sure if it stuck the landing for me — why why why would you give this toxic man a second chance? Bertie you deserve so much better than this manipulative weirdo. I also wish her relationship to Kate had been just a bit more centralized. Still definitely worth the read though
