This book is a great naive teen romance. It gives a fun look into K-pop and South Korea. I loved that the main character was a cellist, although as a cellist myself I found the cello parts a bit over dramatized at times (but that’s kind of the point). I thought the end was a bit rushed but glad there was a happy ending. Overall I would recommend.

I mean it's entertaining, the perfect turn off your brain, simple read.

So dumb tho lmao, the story is superficial, and tbh I DIDN'T want anything deep or substantial to read, there's a reason I chose this book. But, a little more depth to it would've been nice, I mean the K-POP industry is really complex and I think exploring it a bit more would've been interesting and not too hard to achieve. The characters also have the personalities of a stack of pancakes and the ending is very predictable and half-assed, I think this book REALLY NEEDED an epilogue.

Anyway, entertaining, it fulfilled its purpose.

I LOVED everything about this book, seriously! This book was just so fascinating to me as a person that loves Kpop and Asian culture. This book did not disappoint; I felt so attached to these characters and the story, I felt like I was in Seoul! I loved Jenny and Jaewoo together and their romance was just ahhhh, so sweet and fluffy!
The side characters were also super fun to read about; especially Sori and Nathaniel. The friendship development between Sori and Jenny was so amazing to read; And Nathaniel was just a MOOD, he's definitely a fave of mine. I hope we get Sori and Nathaniel's story in the future!
Soooo yeah, I would really recommend this to my fellow kpoppies, Trust me bestie! <333
Lastly, I would like to end this off by saying I'm officially joining the XOXO fandom, Jaewoo and Nathaniel biased obvi! Stan XOXO lmaooo.

Tropes: Star-Crossed Lovers, Forbidden Romance, Secret Dating, Celebrity Romance Etc.
