The best book I’ve ever read. This was a beautiful conclusion to the Mistborn trilogy. Sanderson is a mastermind that needs studied in a lab.

A conclusion that is both epic in scope and unpredictable in many ways. Brilliant but... but I didn't really enjoy that ending. Above world-building and plot, characters are number one for me as a reader. All plot holes were filled, all threads neatly tied-off, but I felt disappointment by the ending even though hope and happier times are promised.

Enthralling trilogy with a great magic system with themes such as faith, courage, and love but most importantly creation and destruction. The pacing in the second half of the book is faster with plenty of action and deep reflections and Sanderson writes these scenes to perfection.

I'll definitely be reading more from Sanderson. Brilliant with deep ideas... only the ending, while hopeful, didn't tick all my boxes.
