Exquisite writing. You’re drawn in from the first page. Krouse’s genuinely fascinating story weaves perfectly with the story at large. Highly recommend to true crime fans and fans of memoirs.

Part memoir and part true crime investigation, this was a really interesting and engaging book! The audiobook is well read, and I'm so glad I picked this one up!

i really enjoyed the parts of this book that focused on the case but found myself drifting (and strangely a little uncomfortable?) during the parts about the author, especially the parts about her marriage and martial arts. i found it really intriguing in terms of the way football culture can sponsor a crime culture that varies by position.
also, the case being denied and then back on was a little confusing to me.
but overall a pretty good book, just a bit slow at times.

I’m a bit surprised that this has such mixed reviews, as I found this memoir  to be a skillful blend of true crime and personal memoir. Let me say this, though, if you are coming to Tell Me Everything expecting intense true crime THIS IS NOT THE BOOK. This novel is just as much about Krouse’s own experiences as it is the case itself, but I don’t think it should be discredited for this fact. Is it a perfect book with a flawless investigation? No, but that’s what makes it human. I appreciate Krouse’s recognition that her personal history is what made her a unique fit for this case, despite the hardships she faced and the mistakes she made along the way.
