This book was a gem and a perfect book to read in one sitting on a rainy day. As a former babysitter who really bonded with a mom I babysat for, there’s a lot here to relate to. Sullivan does a fantastic job describing specifics of motherhood, infertility, and marriage, while also touching on college, privilege, and post-graduation decisions. I really enjoyed this book from front to start.

This book - THIS BOOK! So poignantly true that it can be uncomfortable to read because the author has pinned down the exact experiences and feelings we have in navigating relationships. The prose was excellent, the characters were all given thought, and nothing felt like it didn’t belong. Probably the best book I’ve read in a year.
