Hated it. I needed to read this one for school and write a essay about it. Every second I wasted on this book is too much. It mostly uses Freuds theories to explain things, I am not a friend of Freud. As some who studies to become a nursery teacher (even though I don’t want to work in the field any longer than I have to), this book just pushes peoples flaws and problems onto the parents of said child, of course the way we grew up influences us on the person we become but you’re upbringing is no excuse for your behavior or how far you’ll get in life. I will not give away my chance of „female pleasure“ because I choose to not have children!
