An original and adorable YA Christmas crush-romance! I really enjoyed this story and the family storyline woven in with the chaste teen romance.
Librarian note: there is no alcohol or drug use by main characters, but it is witnessed and referred to in relation to peers. There is no sexual activity by main characters but a teen pregnancy is referred to and making out is witnessed. Main character has just turned 16.

Cute, realistic-feeling high school romance. The main character's narrative voice was really down-to-earth and dealt with some difficult topics - conflict between parents, trouble in school, social issues - without excessive drama or moralizing. The romance was low-stakes, but I was rooting for it.
