Good intro, but there was mostly a focus on land and agricultural context that didn't really include information about the sociopolitical and geopolitical aspects. It was good to include an in-depth history, but I think it's important to include topics like nationalism, right/need for self-determination, and human rights violations to provide a more well-rounded version of the background.

It was also kind of dry lol

This is a great resource if you're trying to understand the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and are looking for a neutral option. It gives a basic overview, starting in 1897 and going up to the 2010's. The writing is rather dry but it's worth reading nonetheless.

✔️Breaks down the facts! Very important non-biased outlook on history from a little over 100 years
✔️Just start with this book! Trust me! Knowledge is power
✔️Some terms I had to google but overall an easy approach to the topic
