Pretty sure I loved this one more than the other book I read in the series. (I’m reading them out of order since they’re technically stand alone but do link together in some ways) Holly and Micah meet when she applies to work at their garage. Since that day Micah has been utterly smitten and wants to do everything for her but he suffers from aphasia (hoping I spelled that right). Due to brain damage from his dark past, he cannot speak more than a few words before his brain stops allowing him to get it all out. He is fluent in ASL and it seems like fate when Holly who shows up out of the blue also knows ASL! Just one thing Holly is terrified that Micah hates her and that she might wind up being abused by another man in her life.
Micah does everything he can to learn her and earn her trust including supporting her through an unexpected injury, encouraging therapy, and taking time off work to spend more time w her.
I loved both of them and wanted it to continue. This was a slow burn and dealt with heavy trauma relayed via memories.

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first Brash Brothers book. I think that's because I loved Micah so much more than Kade. Big scary looking guy who is super sweet and loves books and has a cat named Minnie that regularly sleeps on his forehead? Sign me up! In all honesty, this book was really emotional, but I really, really enjoyed it.

Also, the scene with the scooters and then the one with the crochet hook sword fight were hilarious in every way!!!
