When I first started this book I felt it wasn’t needed. I only wanted to see Annie and Eddie get a chance to meet and talk. While reading though I found myself attached to Annie’s story. I felt her heartbreak deeply and couldn’t put the book down. I am torn between giving this book 4 or 5 stars. I think 4 is fair because some parts of the book feel like it was copy pasted from the first book.

I was very excited to see my library had a ton of Mitch Albom audiobooks! I read The 5 People You Meeti n Heaven in high school and loved it so much I kept the book.

The Next Person You Meet in Heaven is was a very beautiful short audiobook to listen to. The lessons are easy to understand but still make you tihnk about waht could happen when you make it to heaven or the afterlife. I wouldn't say the book is life altering but definitely worth a read or listen if you want something quick.

A beautifully written book that reminds you of how powerful, moving and emotional a really good read can be. I don't want to go into any details about the story as that would spoil it - but I was in tears at the end. I thoroughly recommend this book.

This is technically a sequel to the Five People You Meet in Heaven. Though it could essentially be read stand-alone. There were many similarities between this novel and the first. The subject meets their five people and learns how their life impacted others. The difference was in the revelation this person had at the end. I quite enjoyed it. The ending like most Mitch Albom books leaves you to ponder the afterlife and our understanding of it.

this falls short compared to it’s predecessor which honestly didn’t need a sequel following the same formula. it made things very predictable and while i liked the characters i didn’t connect with them in the same way.
