While I didn’t understand or love all the old American politics in it, and it also being a bit out dated. I did still really enjoy this one, I have just really been loving working my way through Nora Ephron’s books. The last 30% or so really reminded me why I love Ephron, she’s a romantic, she can feel like the everyday woman, she can be so relatable and honest and I just love her for that. I’ve done her last two published essay collections so far and I’m keen to try the semi autobiographical/fictional novel Heartburn next. Definitely thinking essay collections might be my new favourite thing to read.

I guess I just have to admit that sometimes things are so weirdly amazing...? I didn't know I have a book written by Nora Ephron all the time I had it, and I didn't even realize just a couple weeks ago while I was reading another book on Bernstein and Woodward and their life before and after Watergate era, that this Nora is the "crazy" ex-wife of Bernstein. Anywho, this was a delightful, funny read. I completed the book in just a few hours and felt like I could keep reading more. Any break-up story is a one-sided story, and the Nora in the third person and in the first looks so vastly different. But that should make sense though. Besides, I'm not too interested in the author's personal life or who they really are I think. All I know is that she wrote a pretty good book, and that matters more.
