I really want to know where the nickname came from? Did I just skip that part? Also I would like to punch Drew. Hope he gets karma.

✨ ex husbands best friend
✨ fake dating
✨ footballs romance
✨ enemies to lovers vibes

This book was so so so so good. The tension between these two from their beginning banter to their love filled confessions. There’s nothing better than a ex husbands best friend but throw in some fake dating, a tattooed football player with a playboy reputation who falls to his knees for his woman. I loved every second of this and truly enjoyed everything Alex and Harper had to offer.

Years ago Alexander Xavier had one night with the girl of his dreams before he messed up and had to watch her fall for his best friend. Years later and newly divorced Harper bumps into Alex at a gala and he figures out she’s been divorced. But when standing up for her gets him in trouble they have to fake a relationship to save from bad press. But Alex sees his opening to show Harper how she should’ve been treated all along. But with an ex who isn’t ready to give up, will it tear them apart before they have a chance to be together.

A must read, hot and spicy football romance. There’s jealousy scenes from both of them, hidden secrets between these two and so much tension you’ll be flying through the pages.

First off, the sex scenes were a little awkward, like … well not terrible but not the best either.

Secondly, it seems like psycho guy sorta just faded into the background at one point. No real crescendo with that plot line.

Thirdly, holy shit guys we get it - you both love each other!! No need to say it again
