Not my favorite of the series but I liked it. It was more of a filler book but after all the action and plot progression that happened in Book #4 but I guess that is to be expected. I do like you how you get to see development of Mimi and Oliver. One thing that did bother me is all the talk about how Jack and Schuyler are now an item, finally together and all that but I really did see a drastic change from how they have been in previous books granted we didn't see much of them in this book. Overall I gave it 3.5 Stars because not much happened plot wise. However there was some good character development and I did enjoy the storyline of this book.

Schuyler is absent for most of this book... she takes a backseat to Mimi Force. I've disliked shallow and selfish Mimi from the start yet find myself understanding her better in this book. It seems Mimi is learning some compassion, especially toward human red bloods, finally.

New character Deming Chen is a highlight. She's a truthseer and I hope we see more of her in future books. The plot she's involved in is okay, nothing awesome, only because the blue/silver blood conflict didn't really evolve. I really didn't feel there was the urgency of the previous books irregardless that a lot of time is spent revolving around vacuous and arrogant teen vamps on the verge of coming into their powers and past-life memories. I need me some feisty heroines and heart-stopping action... but that's just me.

Still, an enjoyable read but I'd rather be back with half red/blue blood Schuyler and her battles.

Schuyler and Jack bore me to tears. I’m now a Mimi Stan.

I've been contemplating dropping this series for a hot second now, and this was my last straw.

This book truly does not give us ANYTHING. Schuyler is a completely different character for the sake of convenience & she is SO boring. I've never really liked Jack, & this really solidified my deep dislike of him. What is he offering? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He is so underbaked to the point that he has absolutely no character traits. At all.

Mimi is actually kind of interesting, especially given that she is in a new position. I was actually coming around to Kingsley but... y'know...

But this book's worst crime, & my reason for even writing this is the COMPLETE lack of Bliss. Bliss has always been the best character in this series by a long shot. She is so intriguing & fun to follow, & I love her and Dylan as a couple. It's clear to me now that she was the only thing keeping me around, so I am now formally dropping the series. I would love a series about *just* Bliss. Everyone else.... absolutely not.

This is the book in which NOTHING happens.

(Almost nothing.)

Please let Lost in Time be semi-decent.

So good! The first book should have been this exciting, except it took till the 3rd book to get good.

Excited for the next :)

I liked how the book was focused into three distinct parts each following a different character but all ending going to the same place. I didn’t find anything in the plot to be that exciting though so hoping it picks back up when they’re all together in the next book

I love the blue blood series but this was very disappointing. it wasnt that good and the characters became kind of dull. but i hope in the next one they cut the crap out and start behaving like the way we love them.
