Ms. Devon has written another great story. I am really enjoying this new series.

George Cornwall, Duke of Harley knows he needs to marry and then start a family. He just thinks that he can choose a girl and ask her to marry him and then go on with his life.

Lady Eglantine wants to marry and start a family. She has decided a second son will suit her just fine. She wants a love match and will accept nothing less.

I like stories where the people know each other from childhood. These two have a history and a past with each other. He is used to getting what he wants and she isn’t willing to give up her dream and wish for love just because he proposed.

If you like friends to lovers stories then give this one a shot. You won’t be disappointed and you will also meet some interesting people along the way.

Eva Devon has outdone herself with this second book in her series. George Cornwall, the Duke of Harley has decided that it is time to get a wife and heir. Who better to choose than the girl next door. In a very Mr Darcy-like proposal, he lays out all the advantages that Eglantine would have as his wife. Everything but the one thing she was looking for in a husband - love. These 2 dance around each other (literally) as they try to ignore the heat between them. You know they are perfect for each other if only they could see it.
If this series continues in the way the first two books have been it will be an amazing addition to Ms Devon's work.
