Should I be worried that this is the second book this year where I was rooting for a murderer/psychopath?
Anyway, I was really surprised by this book and by how much I enjoyed. It was written in such a fun way. It was super fast paced and didn't get boring for a second. It accomplished something that not many thrillers accomplish: It kept me guessing until the very end basically. I had no idea who the killer was or what would happen next because these characters were so unpredictable.
Usually, I get annoyed when characters act in an irrational way or do something stupid. But here the characters were actually pretty smart and when they did something stupid, it was still believable. That was very refreshing. (I mean, you spend most of the book in the heads of psychopaths and not every decision they make is "good". But I liked how the book showed that not everyone who is diagnosed with this disorder is necessary evil or a murderer.)
Also, I listened to the audiobook and loved it. The narrator does such a good job with the tone and voices, I laughed a lot just because of how she read some of the scenes.
