Nia and Raffiel are still pushing through, learning about each other and leaning into love. In this second part, the road gets more rocky with secret wives, trash baby daddies, gossip and blogs, grief from previous child loss, workplace harassment, the reveal of Nia's SA and some more stuff I'm probably forgetting. She and Raffiel are working through things, and making up when they fall apart, which I loved but in this book I got to the point where I just wanted things to stop happening. There wasn't a single moment of calm in the whole series and I was a little drained, lol. But it was still entertaining and I still rooted for them.

Soooo good
This author shows continual improvement with each book I’ve read. Each of her books just keep getting better and better. She mixes just the right of drama, not too much and not too little. Nia deserved her HEA and Raffiel gave it to her.

True love
Love is messy but it’s beautiful, if you are willing to put in the work. It was beautiful seeing Nia and Ra do the work.
