Lorelei james is one of my favorite authors and her rough riders series is great! I am from western south dakota so to read about towns/areas that I know and love is awesome. That being said this book is great, lots of emotion and believability as well as an adorable baby:)

meh. it's been a while since i've read these books. i thought i liked them but I wasn't impressed with this one at all. didn't care about the characters. actually did not like skylar at all. rolled my eyes one too many times while reading this one. doubt i'll continue with the series.

Hubba hubba - I need to get me a guy that talks like this :). Really enjoyed the book - happened to listen to the audible version and that was my reason for not giving it five stars. The narrator wasn't really right for the characters. I'm glad she wasn't all perky and 16 year old sounding however, she also didn't need to sound so much like the teacher from Charlie Brown.
