Tell me why (I could be wrong) that I just now noticed that the 3 book titles for the lords are basically each lord members name…

DNF'd around 20%; not up for the slow burn typical of RH. Also not interested in getting into a series where I have to read 3 books to assumingly get the HEA.
Life is too short to waste on a slow burn.

Holy hell the ending of this book has left me with so many questions. Now I need to wait for book 2

Update march 2022: lost all interest in this series. Waited for book 2 and forgot everything, including the ending. Just gonna move on to more books now.

This is one of the first reverse harem, dark romance books I've ever read. I was leery going in to it, but I was truly blown away by the writing of Angel & Samantha. The characters and story lines developed well and were thought through. I do not enjoy reading books where I can "guess what happens next" and this book (and the rest of the series) delivered!
Story is a bad b!tch and I came to love and respect her for the decision she ultimately made to place herself in a situation of safety when it comes to weighing the worse of two evils - a crazy stalker versus a group of men who tormented her as a younger girl.
Throughout the story of the Lords in FU, your feelings are built up, ripped apart, and then put back together even stronger than before. I definitely recommend reading through to the next group of characters, the Dukes of FU.

I don't know what rabbit hole I fell down to get to these books but I literally could not stop reading them even though I'm not 100% sure I was having a good time.

I really did not expect to love this as much as I did. I expected it to be a lot darker, i dont know what that says about my mental health.

I enjoyed this premise quite a bit but had a hard time because I just really didn’t like any of the character. Story was meek and timid and holding onto her virginity like it was this whole amazing thing. I much preferred when she had the take no crap attitude she has with Killian during his punishment. The first day after signing the contract she refused to wear the outfit they picked out. Like for real, girl, it’s in your contract you have to wear the outfit?! The early scenes with the guys made it really hard for me to trust or forgive them at all. Also at any time if Story had been honest about Ted/Tod whatever it was, so many things could have been avoided. And if she had told Killian about his dad maybe he wouldn’t have hated her? He legit saw her sitting in his dads lap and his first reaction is how dare she what a sl*t instead of, weird why is my 15 year old step sister sitting with my dad like that, that might not be something good. Basically no ones reactions to anything made sense so I had a really difficult time getting into the characters and really understanding them.
