Single dad Dean 'Mack' McAllister may be super dad to his kids, but he isn't so super when it comes his woman. His nanny, Frannie Sawyer, is a woman who knows what she wants, both in life and love, but finds herself caught up in feelings with a man who has his reservations when it comes to the latter. Their story forces the two of them to rethink their priorities and meet eye to eye in order to truly be together.

First things first: don't you just love it when you read a book with children and they end up not making you want to pull out all your hair because of annoyance?

Good news is this book doesn't have annoying kids. I know that's a very odd point to be nitpicky about in a romance book but there is something to be said about a single dad's children who appear to have more functional brain cells in terms of love. It was so adorable reading them knocking the sense out of their elders and pushing them to their happily ever after.

As for our hero and heroine, I found their romance so cute to read. I love how one moment they have the cutest, fluffiest scenes, then the next minute things start heating up to the highest of levels. So yes, the romance definitely delivered equally in terms of fluff and steam.

I'd say my only setback in giving this 5 stars is the hero. I understood why he has his doubts but at some point, I got exhausted reading his thought process when he's considering the cons of being with the heroine.

Overall, this book is still a win and a highly recommended one. Without a doubt one of the better small town romances/world I've read.
