I have thoroughly enjoyed this series by Kate Gable. We follow an LAPD female detective (woot woot for strong female leads right!) Through many of her own cases in LA as well as through the disappearance of her teenage sister in Big Bear.

Detective Kaitlyn Carr spends her time traveling back and forth running herself ragged. I feel like this book gave us the jump of character development that was so desperately needed. Det. Carr finally starts taking care of herself better- putting herself first, digging into her own trauma and life, and really just motivates and inspires us all to learn ourselves and care for ourselves.

I am extremely grateful for the wrap up ending because I needed it after 5.5 books haha. Thank you.

This is book five and the final book in this series, it is the book that pulls everything together, I have loved this story every book Katlyn has a different case along side looking for her sister Violet.

Everything that has been going on since the first book came to a perfect conclusion including the death of her father.

While still looking for her sister, Katlyn has to investigate the death of a young woman Kelly that was found shot, she had two suspects but her trail turns to a different person.

There is so much I want to say about this book but cant spoil it for everyone else. I really hope we see more Katlyn Carr Stories in the future, 5 easy stars from me for this book and the whole series.
