Griffin and Scarlett each had feeling for each other back in high school, but neither of them knew it. Now, ten years later, they admit to each other their past feelings, and guess what?! Yep, the feelings are still there! This story was so sweet! I love how reluctant Scarlett was to let Griffin in, but he was bound and determined to show her that he would make her his!

I always love when the self-appointed nerd gets the popular guy. Griffin stumbles a ton when he's trying to talk to Scarlett, and it's obvious he feels awkward with her, even though he's incredibly successful. He has no idea, however, that she's WAY more successful than he is. I really enjoyed watching their relationship evolve.

Tropes:
Second chance romance
Billionaire FMC
Actor MMC
"It's always been you"
Buffy references
Dual POV
Novella

I loved the fact that the FMC was a badass STEM billionaire. I loved Scarlet's character. She worked hard to get where she was, and she owned it. Although Griffin messed up a few times, he was quick to apologize and own his mistakes. The communication was on point, probably because it was a novella, but it helped not having to deal with that drama, and a lot of past misunderstandings cleared the way for their romance to grow.

This is an open door romance, but they are short. Although it will feel like they are moving fast, the fact that they both had lingering feels from the past helped move things along. Highly recommend for fans of second chance romance and short low conflict stories.

A cute second chance novella with a bad-ass heroine who grew up from a shy nerd to a bold businesswoman who doesn’t want to fall in love… Even if she may have been in love since forever! I loved the flawless writing and the reference to one of my favorite TV shows ever, Buffy The Vampire Slayer! The characters are cute and well fleshed out for a short story. Definitely worth reading.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Such a cute story! My only complaint is that I don’t wanted it to be longer!

Wishing Upon a Star is an amazing second chance romance. Griffin was the high school jock who falls for his nerdy tutor Scarlett back in high school. But she won’t go out with him because she thought he was asking for a joke. Now years later by chance they meet again, and they work through misjudgment and move forward to their HEA.

Loved the couple and how she was his "star". It will all make sense once you read the book... love how powerful the FMC in the way that she's the billionaire!

If you want a quick read that is adorable and makes you fall in love with the characters than look no further. This second chance romance was such a page-turner full of so many sweet moments.

I loved the story. The fact that the author included one of my all time favorite TV series into a book. The character references were spot on.

The main characters were a hit with both thinking the other couldn't possibly want them. A true unrequited love. Buffy, stars, and bears, oh my! A great, solid story.
