I loved reading the last two plays. Blood wedding was confusing, long, and boring. I wouldn't read it again and I give it 1 star. Yerma was fascinating. Easy to read, entertaining, and special. It deserves 5 stars and I'll definitely read it again. The House of Bernarda Alba was captivating and I finally understood why is such a regarded classic. However, I felt the ending was rushed, and there could have been more space for character development. In my opinion, it deserves 4.5 stars. Coming into these books I expected nothing. But I got so much insight into what it means to be a woman, and the standards society places on us. Overall, this compilation of books gets 4 stars from me

What a delight this was. Although I had previously read all three plays in Spanish this was my first time reading these translations. I found that they stayed true to the original works and still managed to preserve the flavor of these three tragedies.

A bunch of sisters who all think some guy called Pepe is a complete stud whilst their mother shouts at them. Huh.

(Blood Wedding) I wasn't a fan of how this play was translated. I don't think it flowed very well and I think it lost some of its tension and drama in translation. It's a shame because I think this is a very powerful and symbolic play, some of the lines just ruined it for me
