I feel like this didn't really tell you much more than you could get from just looking at the art itself. It did reignite my love for these covers and the art of Tim Jacobus (thank you so much Tim, you really helped shape my love of all the spooky things in the world!). This book also did make me want to re-read my favorite Goosebumps from childhood, like Say Cheese and Die and The Horror at Camp Jellyjam.

I loved this look back at the great art and design of the classic Goosebumps series. The fun facts about the books were interesting and I would have loved to see more of them. The only disappointment I had with this book was that it only briefly featured art from the Give Yourself Goosebumps series or any of the short story collections. I know the book was mostly focused on the art of Tim Jacobus, but I would have loved to see an expanded book that covered the artwork of the various Goosebumps series and merch that was everywhere during the '90s. Still, this was a fun look back at the series that basically hooked me on reading.

Amazing artistic compilation of my favourite 90s gateway horror franchise. Tim Jacobus has a style that almost any kid growing up in the 90s would recognise as a shared experience. A great insider museum of the various stages of artwork and what influenced him as an artist. Some excerpts from Stine, and easter eggs any true fan would love!
