Miller's weasels, whaddayaknow. Wouldn't call this exhilarating writing or storytelling, but C.J. Box sure knows how to pen down something to embrace and care about. Loved the down to earth atmosphere of the book. Felt like coming home every time I picked it up. Also because of Joe. Such a charismatic lead. With an adequate plot that really heats up in the second half it even managed to make my blood run faster and my hands turn sweaty. A little anyway. I will definitely revisit Joe's Wyoming someday.

I'm enjoying reading this series by C J Box. About a Game Warden in Wyoming and his adventures. Joe Pickett manages to get in the middle of murder mysteries and helps to solve them. Light reading and interesting even to a non-hunter like myself.
