So I am very glad I didn’t stop after this first book which I didn’t really like. I definitely think I will listen to more of Tate’s books. Hard core sex, multiple partners, good storyline that continue through all the books in the series. I think it linked to another series before this but it wasn’t necessary as I still followed this.

This was hands down my favorite book out of all of them when it comes to the story telling. I was not prepared for her having betrayal from her inner circle. It was so hard watching everything that you thought you saw working to a plan to end Chase suddenly get put to a stop in the back of a cop car.

However, in true Tate James fashion I didn't have to wait long for the twists and turns to happen and the bigger picture suddenly came out. It was enlightening to see who Zed was, even though we got to know him more in book 3 you REALLY get to know him here. I couldn't believe what he had done to her. I loved that all of her guys were ready to fiercely protect her no matter what. This wrapped up perfectly and the only thing more I could have wanted from this was more of them, but honestly, I felt like i got the type of HEA you could get from this.

I don't know how this happened, but I think I liked this series even more than the Madison Kate series! There was just something about Hades as a character and her growth as a person alongside the romance that spoke to me. Plus, the plot was plotting, as is always the case with Tate James. I guess I forgive her for the cliffhangers throughout. 🩷

A masterpiece of a book!

I don't even have all the words to express how wonderful the conclusion to Hades story was. An emotional rollercoaster, filled with good, bad, ugly, beautiful and steamy scenes.

Best book I have read.
