This book is a follow up to [b:Demon Lover|8036336|Demon Lover (Fairytale Fantasies #2)|Bonnie Dee|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1271169065s/8036336.jpg|12651377], which I was not expecting and didn't realize until I finished the book. It can be read as a stand alone book, but having read [b:Demon Lover|8036336|Demon Lover (Fairytale Fantasies #2)|Bonnie Dee|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1271169065s/8036336.jpg|12651377] prior to this made the ending a bit more enjoyable for me. However, that did not redeem this book for me. I found it to drag quite a bit, something that the first two novels did not do for me. Aurora was too whiny of a heroine for me as well, constantly bemoaning her state of affairs and not getting enough backbone to do anything about it until much later in the story. The love scenes were indeed steamy and sensual, but also much too calculated by Aurora for my tastes. All in all, I would keep this and re-read it only as part of the series if I was reading subsequent books in the series, but generally ignore it as a standalone read. This was a disappointing read for me. Let's hope [b:Sex and the Single Princess|15777296|Sex and the Single Princess (Fairytale Fantasies, #4)|Bonnie Dee|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1343639446s/15777296.jpg|21489911] is a better read than this one!
