I can't review it because then this would be all over.

Lark was probably my second favourite out of her and Rylee. I discovered their linked series accidentally but I'm not sad I found it.

This book as expected took you on a journey. I was so angry and happy all while reading it. I'm not going to review this book to the right justice. I just can't write my feelings fully and I can't work out how to do so without spoiling it.

If you look on Shannon's website You should read this after the epilogue follow up books for Rylee, Pamela, Liam and another book I can't recall. I didn't do it purely because these books are kindle unlimited and that series isn't. It was when I planned to read it but it isn't now and I'm a new home owner I don't get to spend money on books like that so I cut my losses and missed out on that. I don't think I had needed to read that series, I wasn't missing it reading this book it just may have been nice to fill in the blanks where needed.

For an end of series book although different to Rylee's although more openings where left so you read this book, this finishes a lot. We close ties with things and wrap in bows. People die and some people leave. My heart broke for Ash.

I gave it 3.5/5 stars

DESTROYER really did destroy. Characters were destroyed, homes were destroyed, alliances were destroyed, emotions were destroyed and almost the world.

Shannon threw a lot of twists at us in DESTROYER. All of your perceived notions about some characters and events will be thrown out the window entirely. The pace was pretty slow at times, but there was plenty of action and fast paced scenes to get you excited for what came next. Lark's destiny is in no way easy and she lost a lot along the way to get there.

I really enjoyed DESTROYER, until the end. It did wrap up the series, but I just didn't enjoy the way it ended. It felt way too froufrou at times and it didn't feel natural to Lark's character.

I'm sad to see the Elemental series end, but I enjoyed the journey.

* This book was provided free of charge from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Destroyer - Book 7 and final book of the Elemental Series....

To say I will miss these characters is an understatement... they have become part of my "book life"...

This book made me happy, sad, excited, angry.... then repeated it all.... Bring the tissues...

I LOVE this book, LOVE Shannon Mayer....

So sad to see this series end, will miss Lark and the gang...

Can't wait to see what Shannon writes next for us....

Great way to end this series, sad but great. I'm sure that I would re-read it again just to visit the characters. I feel bad that she never really got tons of alone time with Ash though.

I don't remember why I lagged so much between reading book 6 and this book but I'm glad I finished the series. It has some really incredible world building and great character development, though maybe because there was so much time between reading the books, some of the plot tangents were really out of left field for me. But I still enjoyed this book and this series overall!
