I'm not okay! I knew the ending but I still wasn't prepared. It was so cute but super sad.
I love them so much that I would do anything to have a full book about them.😭❤️‍🩹

Debbie Downer here 🙋🏻‍♀

I can't stand Adena. She's so naive, so gullible, it was painful to read about.

Mac was just...boring. The relationship wasn't develop any further other than "grumpy x sunshine" and you can tell.

While we knew Adena, I feel that we had too little time to get to know Mac and that made it hard for me to really care about him in the end.

Having read and loved powerless, I was ready to dive right into this novella as the end of our first book left me on edge and boy did it not disappoint.

Powerful gives us insight into paedyns partner in crime adena, and surprisingly to Hera (who is also in the trails) cousin Makoto and how his and adenas paths cross.

Taking part during the period of the trails from start to end it is filled with beautiful connections and adenas care for others is truly poetic.  If you’ve read the first book you already know
adenas fate
but I felt this gave some beautiful closure and has made me even more ready for next book and the revenge needed for some people’s fates in the past book and novella.
