I really enjoyed this short story! It was completely compelling, and never did I think I would be so interested in what happened to a mans thumb before! What a truly incredible writer! I’m shocked I’ve never read these before and highly recommend these stories to anyone who loves not only murder investigations but wacky and weird scenarios that lead to the most weird yet interesting stories!

At the beginning I thought that this is going to be one of my favourite short stories so far since the case itself was thrilling and intriguing. Unfortunately, the ending didn't satisfy me, since no real detective work really gets done and the cleverness of Sherlock isn't portrayed.
